Channel Islands National Park – Information

Channel Islands National Park in southern California is a real step back in time, well, maybe a swim back in time would be more accurate. The National Park is made up of five wonderful and remarkable islands, plus of course their fragile ocean environment which preserves and protects a wealth of cultural and natural resources. There are many unique plants, animals and archaeological resources here which cannot be found anywhere else due to isolation over thousands of years. This really does give visitors the chance to see coastal Southern California just like it used to be.
