Mesa Verde National ParkĀ is located in Colorado, southwestern Colorado. The easiest way to get there is by car, and realistically speaking you’re gonna’ need a car when you get there anyway just to get around and see this fabulous place. The first cliff dwelling you can see (I know you won’t be able to wait) is around 21 miles further on from the entrance, it’ll take you around 45 minutes of driving time on a narrow, steep, winding road, be patient and prepare for a feast before your eyes.
