Okay, to be a little more specific the Black Canyon of the Gunnison National Park is around 250 miles to the southwest of Denver. What? You want me to be even more specific?
Okay, let’s look at both the North Rim and the South Rim of Black Canyon of the Gunnison National Park, and remember, there ain’t no bridge between the north and the south rims and it takes a good two or three hours to drive around from one side to the other.
North Rim – Black Canyon of the Gunnison National Park – is 11 miles to the south of Crawford along Hwy-92 and the unpaved and aptly named North Rim Road.
South Rim – Black Canyon of the Gunnison National Park – is 15 miles to the east of Montrose, Colorado, reached via Hwy-50 and CO Hwy-347.
Is that better?
