Gates of the Arctic National Park & Preserve Operating Hours & Seasons
Gates of the Arctic National Park & Preserve is open all year round. There are several administrative centers and visitor centers which can provide you with more information about the park, with the following opening hours – however – you are advised to give them a call before setting off just to confirm the opening times.

The Fairbanks Administrative Center for Gates of the Arctic National Park & Preserve is open all year round, Monday – Friday between the hours of 8am and 4.30pm. It does, however, close for the holidays.

The Bettles Ranger Station & Visitor Center is open year round. From the middle of June until the end of September it’s open for 7 days per week, 8am – 5pm although it may close for an hour at lunchtime 12 noon – 1pm. For the rest of the year it is open on Monday to Friday only, between the hours of 8am – 12 noon and 1pm – 5pm. It does close for the holidays.

This Gates of the Arctic National Park & Preserve Visitor Center is open 7 days a week between the hours of 10am and 10pm from Memorial Day to Labor Day.

The outside display at this Gates of the Arctic National Park & Preserve Ranger Station is open 24 hours, but you need to call to check on the opening hours of the actual ranger station.
