Haleakala National Park is a magical place where modern meets ancient Hawaiian culture, maintaining that special bond which the people of Hawaii have with the land. If you reach the Summit Area you’ll marvel at the breathtaking landscape. The people of Haleakala National Park are very keen to maintain the environment found within, so do please keep to the trails, even if you don’t think that some of the more desolate parts of the park are important – they are.
