Saguaro National Park is home to the undisputed symbol of the Wild West – the Giant Saguaro, the largest of North America’s cacti. These world famous cacti are actually found only in a small portion of the US, and are protected by Saguaro National Park. Think about it – how many times have we seen John Wayne ride off into the desert sunset surrounded by these suckers? Yep, plenty . . . . well, just visit Saguaro National Park and you can see ’em up close and personal! Don’t touch though, they’re mighty prickly.
Wow, they’re everywhere.
Jeez, that’s enormous, and don’t they live a long time?
Wow, that’s some scratching post! He doesn’t seem to mind the prickles though . . . he must have a head for heights too.
